We're all looking for sustainable products and ways to be "green" and ethically conscious, but sometimes the products just aren't enticing. It's refreshing to see a company that uses excess leather to make their products. All aspects of the company "The Sway" are sustainable and I must say, gorgeous. There are a lot more emerging sustainable and environmentally friendly brands these days, as well as brands that have made ties with volunteer and charity organizations. We all know about TOMS, but now Skechers has followed in their footsteps donating a pair of shoes to a child in a third world nation with every shoe purchase. There's also Warby Parker, an eyewear company that donates a pair of glasses to someone in need with every purchase. These are just a few of the do-gooder companies making strides in the world and the fashion industry.
If you're in the market for a gorgeous leather handbag or even a leather jacket, buy one from The Sway so the large sum of money you spend can be justified.
